After making huge process on the working papers yesterday, the Futuristic Security Council experienced a crisis this morning. That is the reason why the structure of the working papers unfortunately became invalid and the delegates had to start over.
Within these new working papers, which were presented last afternoon, the members of the Security Council tried to create a framework to help states become more autonomous. The chair Steven expressed his concern, that many states would not want too strong regulations because these are binding in a resolution written by the Security Council. Furthermore he stated that including smaller countries with individual needs is the biggest obstacle. He admired, however, the discipline of the committee. The work of the delegates is hard and fruitful so hopefully they will be able to pass their first resolution soon.
